 AEC has been involved in projects throughout the Tahoe-Truckee region, and we pride ourselves in providing the best in quality and service. The AEC staff manages projects from start to finish beginning with due diligence and land use feasibility studies, through the design process, to bidding, construction management and project closeout. AEC can manage entire projects as lead consultant, or our staff can integrate into an existing construction team.
The challenge of working with the many regulatory agencies in California and especially the Tahoe Basin can be daunting. The AEC staff has extensive experience working with various agencies on the local, state, regional and national levels. We understand the diverse needs our clients and of the regulatory agencies and work to find successful solutions for project approval and implementation.
The AEC staff works hard to make the complex regulatory process easier for our clients. We provide resource support on technical investigations and multidisciplinary environmental review projects involving the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). AEC engineers also guide our clients through the permitting processes of local, state and regional regulatory agencies like the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA); Lahontan Regional Water Quality Control Board (Lahontan); California Department of Fish and Game (CDF&G); California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CDF); California State Lands Commission (CSLC); as well as Placer, Nevada, and El Dorado Counties.
AEC also is equipped to provide surveying and mapping services for all types of projects. We can help you resolve minor boundary disputes or do complete staking of multi-million dollar resort developments, dams, roadways and pipeline projects. AEC engineers have performed all types of record mapping including that required for subdivisions and condominiums, government land surveys, ALTA, route surveys for highways, roads, pipelines and other public infrastructure projects.
